An Adventure A Day:

Glacier Express: Iconic Luxury Train Ride through the Alps

We start our adventure in Arosa and end in Zermatt, encouraging a few extra days for you to stay in Zermatt if you’d like to continue the adventure and integrate the inspiration after the event ends.
We’re taking the Glacier Express (Excellence Class) Luxury Train to Zermatt on March 1st to enjoy the iconic panoramic trip through the Swiss Alps. The new Excellence Class sets standards that are as high as the mountain peaks along the legendary route….


but before we go to Zermatt… we have a few high adrenaline adventures in Arosa, including:

SKI + SNOWBOARDING IN AROSA

Winter Snow Shoe Hiking

The quiet winter pleasure. Snowshoeing used to be the means of transport for farmers and hunters decades ago. Today, snowshoes are a modern sports equipment for winter lovers.

Horse-drawn carriage rides

Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride along well prepared winter hiking trails while wrapped up in a warm blanket. Simply take in the breath-taking views across the surrounding mountain scenery and listen to the bells on the horses’ harness. This is winter wonderland at its best!

Winter Paragliding

Experience the mountain panorama of Arosa from a breathtaking perspective:

Ready to fly? Paragliding is a safe activity that is practised in harmony with nature and offers you an unforgettable winter experience.

We take-off on the Weisshorn summit and enjoy the alpine panorama and then land in Arosa. On the way we cover around 800 metres in altitude.

SledgING

Sit on a classic wooden sled or a sporty bobsleigh and off you go on one of the many sledging runs.

Whether by train or on foot to the top, fun is guaranteed on a roaring ride down into the valley. Arosa has three toboggan runs with a total length of 4.7 km, which are also marked on the Arosa Lenzerheide piste map. The toboggan runs are also ideal for those who like to sledge back to the village at night after an enjoyable dinner on the mountain.
